I'm sure everyone with sky sports has already seen this, but for those who indulged in a dodgy stream (like myself), here ya go!:

Sounds very much like Barton will be staying, he seems to have a long-term attitude towards things. Great to hear further confirmation of the positive team spirit that's so apparent on the pitch!

It's great to see how respectful Barton is of Clint, especially as Barton was once the captain. Sounds like the team spirit is excellent. If you listen carefully, I swear Hill even cheekily says to Barton, 'you had a terrible game, eh?' when Joey gives him the MOTM award.

I was delighted with the result today but thought Barton had a shocker. I recorded the match and have since watched it again. Barton consistently gave the ball away with sloppy passes. He made Henry look good. I can't fault his work rate, effort or energy. We may not have the most creative midfield pairing but they both work their socks off. I can see that midfield quartet starting many of our away games.
Though SWP had a decent game. Will run all day but sadly very very little end product. I thought Simpson was fantastic. A great acquisition. Loves going forward and has the pace to get back.
As a footnote. When's the last time anybody saw Clint spend so much time in the opposition half. Great energy today.

When asked '' Do you expect to remain at this football club at the end of the month? '' He didn't say ''I hope so''. Which would be a natural response.
I think he will be a deadline day mover. Someone will take a chance with him.

Barton was certainly below par, with too many poor passes, but still had a positive impact overall IMO. Not sure how you can say that SWP had a decent game and then contradict yourself by saying that there was little end product - that's the point! Onuoha was the unnoticed MOM for me.

SWP ran his socks off for the team and carried out the defensive duties of a winger pretty well. He tries to get forward but his control is poor for a pro footballer and his crosses are inconsistent IMO. For his overall contribution in an away game, I thought he was decent

Joey's comment told me he knows he's going. He's just lucky he's not taking a suspension with him....

I think Joey's comment really meant that he doesn't want to ward off any interested parties but still wants to try and keep the QPR fans on side. His handling of the media is getting better. A couple of seasons ago I think his response would have been completely different.

There's a decent chance of a final day transfer, but I don't think his comments necessarily indicate that.
The ball is entirely in his court with regards to whether he stays or not, it's common knowledge that we want to keep him. If he'd said he "hoped to stay", then that would be an admission that he was going to stay. I think it was always unlikely that he'd commit to that live on television in a post-match sky interview- so a non-committal "i'm not sure" was always the morel likely response.

Barton turned to acknowledge the fans. He really is working hard to ingratiate himself with the fans, team mates, manager. I think he is preparing to stay and make the best out of it.

Agree about Onouha. He had Beckford in his pocket all game and looks so comfortable on the ball these days. It's hard to believe he once had the nickname 'Nervy Ned'.

Another one of our players who we used to play at RB, out of his natural CB position. Ditto for Clint Hill playing at LB today, rather than CB. Mackie was always better playing as CF, rather than a wing man, and others too.

Always remember the job Adel did for us playing as a lone striker, when he set up that SWP goal at Chelsea.
