Pardew trying to take credit for Anita performance

Pardew says he gave an Ajax performance after he had a talk to him ,if he had more game time last season he woul have done it earlier but you kept picking your blue eyed boys in front of him unfairly in my opinion

 

Well said! Hearing people say 'Its not the managers fault' doesn't wash anymore. He's had players at his disposal who may improve things but has never given them a chance. Jonas looked tired for most of last season yet was never dropped!

 

Any ****er with half a football brain could see all this lad needs is a run of games.

 

Don't worry he will be dropped next game for one of Pardew's favourite players, either Tiote or Jonas.

 

Thing is with Anita is he is on a different technical level to the rest of them if you ask me, including the manager. He is always thinking, where is the space to receive the ball, where can I place myself to make it difficult for the opposition to move forward. This is why he needs a run in the team to be effective. He needs the rest of them on the same page. Else he makes an interception, finds the space, looks up and the rest of the team are stood there picking their nose.

 

The positive to come out of the Cabaye debacle is Anita being picked to play in his best position in the centre as the focal point or creator.
If he is going to play, that's the best position for him.
Out on the left, right, or as DM to me is another square peg in a round hole.
