Anyone know which position on match of the day we are at? I expect Arsenal and Liverpool wins to be before us. So guessing third? Am I right?

I actually thought that Ramirez was good when he came off the bench. I don't recall him doing anything particular wrong. Lallana upped his game a lot in the second half and was wisely kept on the pitch. Everyone had a good game but Lambert, Shaw and Schneiderlin are normally better than they were today. Osvaldo looked like he's hit the ground running and looks like Lambert with more of an engine.

Four of our last eight games have resulted in a 1-1 draw. We seem to play solid at the back but concede through individual errors. It would be nice to score more but I think once Osvaldo starts scoring, if Ramirez has more performances like that and if JWP continues to deliver good set-pieces then our lack of goals should disappear.

    Ful/Ars, Sto/CP, AV/Liv, Hull/Nor, Sou/Sun, Eve/WBA, New/WHU

Hull/Norwich features a newly-promoted side winning with 10 men, a controversial penalty, and an attempted (and somehow failed) headbutt, so I can see why it got the nod.

Anyone know why Shaw and Morgan were taken off? Figured Shaw was as a precaution because he looked to take a knock, and Morgan was tactical because he was a bit crap, but is anyone sure?

Where did Osvaldo play? Behind Lambert? Up with him? Out wide?

Everywhere. The attackers all looked very fluid.

In the second half we had Lambert, Lallana, Gaston, Osvaldo, J-Rod and JWP on the pitch at the same time. They all kind of interchanged, but as far as I could tell his position was wide right, with Lallana left, Gaston central, Lambert up, and JWP in CM.

Gaston came on for Lallana so they probably weren't on the pitch at the same time.

He got booked then made a late challenge straight after. The first booking was soft as ****.

Yeah, the end result I guess was correct - Osvaldo finished with a yellow card. It's just that it was the wrong foul he got booked for. Indeed, I wasn't even convinced the first foul (the one he did get booked for) was even a foul.

Thought the second was a nailed on (second) yellow though.
