Koren Davies Figueroa Thudd, Aluko, McGregor and Livermore receive honourable mentions. But every one of them were warriors out there today.
1 - Davies, you could see today why Villa were prepared to pay nearly 10 mil for him, he was not only excellent in his own game but led the line and was pretty much our captain 2 - McGregor, another ace bit of business by Bruce, his willingness to come claim the ball was superb today, and made a few decent saves too 3 - Huddlestone, 1st half a class above with control and passing, looked tired last 10
Honourable mention for Turner too, thought the pen was a bit harsh but other than that he was Norwich's best player
Most difficult MOM I can remember, probably 5/6 players who could win it. I'd have to go: 1) Huddlestone 2) McGregor (as good as a goal that save and his distribution was excellent too) 3) Davies Was very difficult to not include Livermore, Koren and Aluko, who were all brilliant too.
Hard to pick today for all the right reason's but for me: 1) Davies 2) Livermore 3) McGregor Tudd just misses out as does Figueroa
It's good to see the spine of the team performing so well. That can only be a good thing going forwards.
I also think this is the hardest MotM so far, almost anyone could make the top three. I'm going... Huddlestone Koren McGregor Could easily have included Brady, Davies, Livermore or Chester, it was an absolutely brilliant performance.
Davies Thudd McGregor McGregor's game winning save puts him ahead of Brady and Livermore. Sorry I couldn't post this Gooch like you asked, I've only just got in from the game.
Almost impossible to say, but i'll try 1. Davies 2. Thudd 3. Koren Pretty much everybody else deserves a shout though. Particularly McGregor. Davies probably edged it with his storming run forward near the end.
1. Elmo - thought he was immense yet again. Improved so much from the back end of last year. 2. Livermore - I thought he was outstanding, and really wasn't afraid to put a boot up someone's arse! 3. McGregor - Signing of the summer. What a save. Davies was terrific, was just like watching Justin Whittle again, except with a bandage. Koren's best game in god knows how long. And Thudd... if Charlie Nicholas thought he "needs to improve," then bloody hell what a player we're going to get!
The really promising thing about today is we looked like a team, which is the only thing that will keep us up. 1/Koren (great captains role, and always wanting it) 2/Mcgregor (we finally have ourselves a very good keeper) 3/Davies ( Awesome ) Livermore ran a marathon today superb,Brady,Boyd everyone
