Apologies to pub goers

I just wanted to apologise to anybody that turned up at the Crown & Sceptre last week because I didn't quite make it.

Last Friday night I came down with a stomach virus and although I did my best to make the pre match drink I just was not up to it and have been ill for the past week. I don't normally let people down as this is not my style so I hope you don't hold this against me for any future pre match drinks.

I did however manage to make the match thanks to Staines and sons and to be honest don't know how I lasted as I was feeling awful but the result and the positives that came from the match kept going as did the great company.

I hope we can meet another time when I am in the country.

Glad you are OK mate. Nines made several passes through the pub looking for you, but outside of that "only" Wandle and I were there, as far as I know. Any chance of you being over for the Birmingham match?
