Must just be joking I'm sure but I can't think of someone I would like less to get called up. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23812531
Can't stand him, but strangely want him to do well as he is in a couple of my fantasy football teams.
Agree with everyone else. Can't stand him BUT think he's better than some of the players that have been called up in the last 10 years. He's an intelligent player and he gets goals. But I think it's too late for him.
He's very effective in a team that plays long balls to a big man to knock down for him, but England don't play that way anymore (and he wasn't in the picture even when they did).
I can't stand him either but the main reason I would not pick him is because of his recent goal celebration. He ran off clucking his arms like a chicken and then skipped to the corner flag! For such a snarler of a player it was quite pathetic (and very comical)!
I can't think of a player I like less. The reason he does the chicken celebration is a reminder that he tries to fight the world, like when he went for Lallana, until someone like Rickie steps in and then he becomes a chicken ****. Kevin Nolan = horrible, ugly-style niggle football People can stick "effective" up their arse! Did I mention I'm not keen?
Hate Nolan, average player with a shocking attitude. Surrounded by WHU season ticket holders at work (sympathy please) who say his attitude is ****, he doesn't work back like Noble, Diame etc and has little technical ability. To be fair, 10 goals last season is pretty impressive though. But yes, **** player and I hate him
Don't get me wrong. I have seen him look like a pathetic chicken numerous times but I was under the impression that the girly skip was something he had added to his celebration. Either way a crap celebration and good to see my dislike for him (especially after the Lallana incident last year) is shared. I was at that game and he was snarling throughout as well as constantly in the ear of the ref. The only thing Lambert and Nolan share is the fact they are both scousers.
Surprised at this to be fair. Nolan's charachter, attitude and professionalism is amongst the best in English football. He never gives up and is a great leader on the pitch. After we lsot 6-1 to Leyton Orient in pre season a few years back he basically got the team together and told players that didn't want to be there to speak up and leave the club. Not here to wum or anything lads, but to call him lazy is a bit ironic given Le Tissier is deemed a legend by you guys (he was more than fairly lazy from what i remember). Back on the subject of Nolan though, good premiership player for a mid table club but not a chance that he's good enough for England. Hope you win today by the way just to put a another puncture in the Di Canio "revolution"
He'd certainly have to at least be on my top five most hated current players, if not in my top one. Mouthy, niggling, whiny little piece....
Top post there mate, totally agree. Nolan is a great character I think, and was perfect to turn things around at both Newcastle and West Ham when they were relegated. People only dislike him because he plays in an 'ugly' team and celebrates like he works for KFC.
