While we all get increasingly excited ahead of tomorrow's game let's spare a thought for our Egyptian fans. No matter how dedicated they are they probably have far more serious things to think of at the moment. Keep safe over there.
Aye. Egypt has been a political mess for years. They have bigger things to worry about than City playing against Norwich. I saw a City shirt during one of the Egyptian riots, I'm sure of it.
it isn't about Islam or a real war against Terror it is just a war between two sides want to rule the country and both are using the people who are fighing on streets and losing thier lives only for the gain of others who are fighting for the power not actually for the future of egypt as they saying but we will survive we always do thank you guys for the kind words
I don't think they're fans of City, more than they're interested in seeing Elmo, Gedo & Fathi. If you saw all their comments on the Facebook site, they won't stop going on about Gedo & Fathi and it's getting annoying. I hope they come through all the disturbances, and their country returns to normality sooner rather than later. Hopefully within democratic means rather than the continuation of the bloodshed.
Politicians = the root of all evil, I wouldn't piss on any of them if they were on fire! Good luck foxegypt
Well said Foxegypt. Ordinary Egyptians are caught in the middle of this power struggle between the Brotherhood and the Army/security forces. Stay safe with your family and stay out of Tahrir etc. Enjoy the Prem season with Hull City. Elmo looked great against Chelsea. Maybe we'll see Gedo back at the KC too.
