Ciarrai, if you go down South Africa Road to Wood Lane, turn left, keep going straight up Scrubs Lane towards Willesden Junction, it is on your left hand side. I would say it is roughly 2 miles north of Loftus Road.

My old granddad is buried in St Marys Cemetary on the Harrow Road which is spitting distance to Old Oak Common. I'll be able to go say hello to him before going to the games.

Looks like there will be access to the Heathrow Express at that new railway station so it will make access for people travelling over a lot easier.

The canal holds some good fish I have heard ...

Feed three lines by pole cup ; short, mid and over the far side (use pellets here)

Start off on short pole under your feet for gudgeon and roach before a quick look every hour on the mid line for bream ... two worm heads can score highly

In the last hour go right over and expect to catch a bonus carp or tench

"We built this city on rail and road!"... That could be the most cheesy thing I've ever seen.

All very positive or course, but I don't think that we should get carried away. As I understand it (and correct me if I'm wrong with any of these) here are a few points of caution:
    1) There's no guarantee that this development will actually go ahead, or any firm timeframe.
    2) Even if it does go ahead there is absolutely no guarantee that it will include a football stadium. A sports stadium has only been included as one as one possible "option" amongst many others which don't include one.
    3) Even if it does go ahead and does include a football stadium there is no guarantee at all that it would be awarded to QPR (rather than Fulham, Chelsea or any other interested party). We'd be I a strong position I think (not least because of the proximity of Loftus Road), but we wouldn't be a shoe-in.

Anyway, I don't want to pee on anyone's bomb fire over all this, but points worth bearing in mind nonetheless I think.

And if you read the Old Oak common promotional stuff the infrastructure is at least ten years away. Still, could be 2 miles nearer north London by the time I get a free bus pass!

It will take 10 years or more 2 just to arrange the back handers and when its built it won't cope .... This is England

For that reason best start with a realistic name ...

    The Q

Because that's exactly what you will be doing a lot of the time

They have brains of mice these fools
