...and now it's 'Hull Tigers' on this one! http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=329509 Come on, Papa, face up to the fact that this whole name-changing fiasco is a total bag of ****!
It looks like it depends on which operating system you use. I've clicked the feedback option at the bottom of the page and pointed out their **** up.
Ou for ffs... On the official premier league fixture list for this week Its hull city tigers v norwich city, id post a pic but on my phone app.
On the official Premier League website, it says this weeks game is 'Norwich v Hull', the league table also just says 'Hull', the complete list of fixtures for the season has us as 'Hull City'.
Hull City 'Ulltras ‏@Cityultras 12m We encourage ALL fans who are against the name change to meet at the west park gates entrance at 2.30pm before Saturdays home game! #HCAFC Hull City 'Ulltras ‏@Cityultras 12m We ask for a peaceful and slow walk to the ground behind the banner where fans can voice their opinions on the name change. Hull City 'Ulltras ‏@Cityultras 12m The banner will then be paraded along the East stand wall where applause are requested from supporters who agree with its content.
The media struggle to call us anything more than Hull let alone Hull City, Hull City Tigers etc. The old man is an embarassment - the trouble is nobody's man enough to tell him - its his money that saved us after all.
Glad to see the Ultras are leading the charge. With it being such a low key game otherwise, maybe the media will pick up on it.
Aye. I presume they'll be putting the banner in the same place in the East Stand where they put the anti WYP banner last season (which is coincidentally right behind me)
Fans to protest against Hull City name change before Norwich City game Hull City ‘Ulltras have joined forces with other Hull City Supporters groups to stage a clear and un-ambigous protest against attempts to re-brand our beloved club. Confusion now reigns as to whether the club is to be: Hull Tigers, Hull City Tigers, Hull AFC or Allams Melton Marines, such are the mixed messages coming from our club. The media, having first laughed at the ‘re-branding’ suggestion has subsequently and honorably stuck with our 109 year old name as too has the premier league. Hull City ‘Ulltras respect Dr Allam and Ehab for being the saviours of our club but changing the name is not something we want nor can agree to. On Saturday we are calling for a large but peaceful demonstration of fans feelings on the matter. A slow march will take place at 2:30pm Saturday from West Park gates to the ground and all supporters are encouraged to walk behind a banner making our feelings clear. The banner will then be paraded along the East stand wall where applause are requested from supporters who agree with its content. Hull City AFC is a Club not a Brand It is up to the fans to make that 100% clear Saturday 2:30pm West Park Gates Hull City ‘Ulltras are a Non-Hooligan Indpendent Supporters group with a mission to bring passionate support to the sterile modern game http://www.hullcityonline.com/news/...ll-city-name-change-before-norwich-city-game?
Love me or loath me, we love and support the same club, Hull City AFC. Can someone, either openly, or if difficult, by PM (please trust me, I will honour your privacy), please give to me the business email addresses of Assem Allam, Ehab Allam and Nick Thompson - it has been said that the number of emails against the Chang only numbered 20 (I think) this is something we need to change now, and not with a template email. We are individuals with a common belief (those who have!) And we should express it as that to the men, one in particular, who claims this is a gift. I would like to be his friend, but I find it difficult when Assem is raping the heritage of a football club that has been built with the coin and passion of my ancestors and those of my friends. I need to speak with him, do you?
Spoke to NT last night. He again said he knows of no plans to change it but it is Papa's preferred name. The name registered with the PL is still Hull City. It'd be worth pointing that out when contacting media sources who are calling us HCT.
