After beating Derby last week there wont be too many changes to the team unless Nigel choices to change the formation again. Chris Wood could lose his place in the team to either Anthony Knockaert or a defender with Nigel changing the formation. Sean St. Ledger is the only absense. So here is what I would play Schmeichel De Laet Moore Morgan Schlupp King James Drinkwater Nugent Wood Vardy Subs- Logan, Miquel, Bakoyogo, Dyer, Marshall, Knockaert, Waghorn
I'm not a fan of the 4-3-3, but think we might stick with it at home, as it's the most attacking of the formations we've played so far. What I would play: Schmeichel Schlupp Miquel Morgan Moore De Laet James King Knockaert Vardy Nugent Subs: Logan, Whitbread, Bakayogo, Marshall, Drinkwater, Waghorn, Wood However I think Nige will probably play a team very similar to Proud's, with perhaps one of the strikers or one of the CMs making way for Knockaert.
Don't change a winning team (although I would like to see Bakayogo in a 3-5-2 and also Schlupp given a chance up front)
Brum have been playing 3-5-2 as well so can see NP reverting to that. If he does i'd like to see Schmeichel RDL Moore Morgan Whitbread Schlupp James King Knockaert Wood Vardy Subs: Logan, Miquel, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Marshall, Dyer, Nugent
Well that was close. Just got back from the game basically NP does has a plan B bring on 2 wingers. Playing Vardy, Wood and Nugent up front just doesn't work. Another disappointing game from an inept referee missed one clear penalty but gave one that wasn't still who cares 2nd in the league let's now press on from here. Certainly impressed so far with Vardy looks like he has finally found his feet this season. Looking forward now to a trip down to Charlton next week now.
We should have had a peno for the foul on Matty James. Clear as day And then the peno for the foul and Lloyd Dyer was laughable. Their centre half clearly took the ball
@liammoore93: Just like to say the "he's one of our own" chant at the end of the game gave me goose bumps ❤thanks #lcfc fans x Another quality performance from Liam. He stepped into Wes's shoes superbly
Agreed although again he showed a lack of experience a few times today. He needs to learn to play the simple pass, too. He just lumped it up the field several times. In terms of defending though, he's ****ing superb. For a fairly small (in height, he's obviously built like a brick ****house) man he has one hell of a jump. He can only get better and he's already good.
