Blame the Scottish research, besides, he seems to win most things due to strength, not necessarily tackling ability.
So if tackling ability doesn't come into it, why did we spend over £10m when any generic strong guy could do the same thing?
Wanyama clearly has attributes that separate him from any 'generic strong guy', such as his technical ability. He only actually won 1 tackle on Saturday, according to WhoScored. He isn't in the same role as Cork was.
What does he do then? He's a generic strong guy with a reasonable pass on him? That's one game, too - he had more interceptions than Morgan so I suppose his interceptions rating should be moved up from 74 to higher than Morgan's 83 (which is pretty low for someone who had among the most interceptions last season). And being in the top five for tackles per game last season in the Champions League shows he's not very good at tackling? Yeah, I'm just not sure why his tackling is basically the same as Steven Davis.
If you add up all the card stats on Ultimate Team 13 silver player, Wanyama's upgrade has the highest!
Playing against Wanyama on seasons was ridiculous. The guy just destroyed everything. Luckily we'll be able to do that to other teams on FIFA now.
I'll have to resist the urge to buy this for the Xbox, as I'm going to wait until the XBOX One is out and get the next gen version as basically Fifa 14 for the current gen is a squad update? can't see how they can make much improvements unless they fixed the 1st touch control to make it more realistic.
Well his strength is going to help him win tackles even if his tackling isn't technically as good, and I'm not sure about putting his interceptions above Schneiderlin's based on him winning more interceptions in one game!
When do ratings normally get leaked out, Just curious. Not buying it this year, nit worth the money buying it each year! Also it gets less fun now we are a decent team, playing manager mode with saints used to be fun, but now its too easy
I was joking about the interceptions, simply based on the logic that only winning one tackle in one game wasn't solid grounds either. And yes, obviously that's true, but it seems absurd to suggest that his tackling ability should be ignored because it relies on strength, otherwise any old strong player with a very basic understanding of the position could play DM. His strength would help with his dribbling, too, because he can shrug players off the ball, so why is his dribbling (which isn't exactly a strength of his) higher than his tackling?
Ive had a look but only come accross shakey phone recordings its looks good but i wouldn't say spectacular! mind... you cant tell until you see it in person! what are people going for next gen? PS4 or XBOX ONE? I personally am going for PS4 price and spec kinda makes sense!
When I get a ps4 I'll get a new Fifa. 12 was a huge leap from 11 but I thought 13 was just a tiny step up from 12. Not worth the money imo.
All games will be made to the lowest spec console (Xbox One) if those games are designed for both consoles i.e Fifa, Call of Duty, so both will look exactly the same. The only difference being when it comes to exclusives. It's a hard one for me, having Fifa 14 for free almost makes up for the extra expense
