Seems to have been another organisational cock-up by all things Bristol City (and I'm not specifically referring to the football club!!!)

However I do like the graphics on the BCFC site for the JPT ticket sales, they have done a good job.
Only one thing... I didn't realise Gerry Gow was still being paid to play for City!!

WTF is going on attempted to contact ticket office, went through usual 1,2,3,4 options pressed the correct one ir rang for ages then I got some american woman's voice waffling on about some mail box, thanked me for calling then cut me off.
OK so will try online??? yeah that works, how the **** do you purchase your ST seat when the website has them being in use and won't let you purchase?
am I being dumb or does it mean that as a season ticket holder I can't use the buy online facility?

Theres been alot of people having this problem it seems that city changed the phone number for buying tickets over the phone line, but have not advertised this well or had the old line discontinued what you have described sounds like you maybe ringing the old number

phone 01179630600 and you should eventually get through not the 0871 number

So far more than 4,600 tickets have been sold to home supporters, with Rovers reporting sales of more than 1,000 from their 2,250 allocation in the Wedlock Stand.

The match will be all ticket for home and away fans, with no tickets sales on the day of the game.

Notes: Wedlock Stand season ticket holders will not be able to secure their seat online. Those supporters can either call Supporter Services or purchase in person. Apologies for this minor inconvenience.

I hung on for 27 minutes earlier today before getting cut off without speaking to anyone.

I Text the following yesterday lunchtime :

    'Online has crashed - again.
Tried for 2 hours to get through by phone - engaged - do they have enough staff ?
Hang on automatic answer - 'we're experiencing high demand for fans renewing season tickets' !!!!
Now been ringing for over 5 minutes with no reply. I'll try again tomorrow.
I wonder if we're in for another City shambles.'

    Not wrong was I.

Unfortunately used the new number but still no joy. So bloody frustrating am losing patience and will probably stay at home and watch it on TV first time I will have done this for a derby for years. Cannot explain how F******* mad this makes me. and low and behold I get a message on facebook suggesting I use the same number for Palace tickets. We spend a lot of time having a go at players? who is the named person responsible for this cock up so we can give him/her some stick. Doubt any one individual will pop their head above the parapet and take responsibility. The apology and promises given earlier do appear to have been empty ones. I AM SO ******* ANGRY SOMEONE SORT IT OUT!
    Rant over.

PS website says only by online tomorrow and Monday, that's great if it's going to keep on crashing. We are not talking about 30,000 tickets, it's only about 6,000 so far.
    Did I say rant over???

The company that look after the new ticketing system should be dropped, the guy who implemented all these changes for this season was getting a hell of a lot of stick when i was queing for tickets yesterday.
The phone service is poor as not enough staff to man them. The club would of probaby shifted nearer 10k if organised. I actually saw people give up on queing yesterday it took 25 mins to serve one guy!

Got mine, but it was a nightmare as I have a family season ticket, when the Mrs went in on her log in she could only reserve her's at first so she didn't do that incase we couldn't get the others. Then she tried again could only get mine and the kids but not hers took 2 hours until it allowed her to get them all again.
Then she looked at her recent purchasers and the Palace tickets were removed which we bought the other day. Funny how companies like ticket master can deal with various venues with 50-70k tickets all within a couple of hours but we can't deal with 6k.
Plus why did they change the way it's done now where the season ticket is not credited so we will have shed load of people collecting tickets and trying to get paper to scan, more than likely in the rain. I can see major **** up happening plus I bet I get to my seat and fair weather fans will be trying to sit in it rather than going to their own.
