Monumental wicket as well, Faulkner is handy but the Aussie batting line-up looks even more fragile than usual, get through Watson and we could really skittle them.

Get the first 4-5 wickets and the Aussies collapse, but these two seem stuck in now. What price that drop from Cook?

Bad day for England. Woakes recovered and at least tightened the economy rate. But Kerrigan really did have a shocker. He would have got smashed at club level the way he was bowling today

Well the selectors picked Kerrigan , so we have to trust them .

I just hope his confidences has not been destroyed .

Australia often start like this....couple of early wickets tomorrow (hopefully) and what could have been a great score drifts to a decent one.

Watching the build up to the 2nd day on sky and Strauss was serving tennis balls at Hussain in order to show how to get out of the way of a ball. Nasser didn't do this very well as a ball got caught in the grill of his helmet! Hilarious. <laugh>

Early breakthrough is required [next contestant Cybil Fawlty - specialised subject, the bleedin' obvious].
You always feel with this aussie batting order that if you can get a quick wicket another [and hopefully another] will soon follow.
Hopefully we can knock them over for not too many over 400 and we're still in the game.

Kerrigan looked klike he had the yips. Tenseed up just as he bowled. Needs a better day today.

Have two days off so really want to see some cricket, but, on the other hand, there would be amusement value to having the Aussies post a decent score only to be beaten by the weather again.<laugh>

Good knock hope it's enough to get in the side against the Aussies.
