Carberry bowled for the England Lions. Figures: 1-0-2-2

It was the 47th over he bowled and Bangladesh A were 149-8 at the start of it chasing 354.

I'm not sure where Carberry fits into the T20 line-up. As others have said I can't see him breaking up the openers and England have been playing Luke Wright at 3 recently. After today's knock I doubt he'll be giving that place up. Maybe Carberry slips into the middle order somewhere?

Macca and Ervine playing a blinder... over 10 runs an over needed from 6 overs, can they do it? (yes they can, I hope)

Watched most of Lancashire's innings and then our fairly tepid start, then switched to football, have switched back twice now only to see Adams' and Macca's wickets fall within 3 seconds of me changing channel...

I'm not watching any more! :emoticon-0184-tmi:

Need a couple of sixes to get momentum....we've got the men at the wicket to get them.

Shame to ultimately get so close, but as I'd factored a defeat into this game ever since the Lions squad announcement (what a useful game that was today but the way,mum sure the England selectors learnt lots...), I'm really not fussed.

Our three wins last week allowed us to lose this one (hence it being so important that Ervine and Dimi helped us to beat Surrey on Thursday). If we can go Derby on Monday and win - and they have a massive, massive four day game starting later in the week to be more concerned with - then we'll qualify. Even a rained off no result in that one would almost certainly take us through, albeit maybe not with a home SF.

Early wicket for England at the Oval but Watson looks very dangerous, scoring at a run a ball so far and into the 70s

Oh dear Kerrigan! 2-0-28-0 is not a great start.

Lehmann still fuming about Broad not walking. It makes no sense as in the same game Australian batsmen didn't walk and Starc screamed in Trott's face when he was dismissed on review having hit the cover off the ball with the Aussies laughing (so they must have seen he hit it on the big screen but didn't call him back). What's even funnier is Michael Clarke defended Broad already and Lehmann wasn't a walker when he was a player.

My favourite bits were 'I don't advocate walking' (In an article completely focused on him criticising someone for not walking) and 'the biggest problem is the poor umpire cops all the crap'. Yeah, okay Dazza. Don't think he believes he word he's saying he's just trying to put some fire in his team and the Aussie crowd and piss off our players, and put the media focus on himself rather than how piss poor his team are.

Special moment on the horizon, a Shane Watson hundred. The rarest of cricketing sights.

Still slightly confused by England's team selection. Watson seems to be finding batting much easier than anyone else.
