cos he's the big cheese on that show. regardless of the topic macdonald has the final word. stopped listening shortly after this became obvious - probably around 4-5 years ago. there's no point listening to a mag-biased show where the mackem pundit is clueless. the only good thing about it was slaven and even then he was a knob until boro's relegation deflated his ego a bit and turned him into the most grounded aspect of the show. i'd rather have banter and read opinions on here now than listen to the regional radio shows.
Yes totally concur its so newcastle biased that listeners left in droves. If you do happen to stumble across it they cut both boro and the sunderland supporters short whilst allowing a mag called Eddie to talk and talk even though he is possibly the most boring man who has ever lived (think Father Stone).

I stopped listening when they got rid of Gatesy..Macdonald is piss poor to say the least, and from the small snippets I heard in recent years, Slaven and Horswill came across as a pair of dirty old men..

Star radio marra. It's available on the internet, not sure if you can get it on dab but if McDonald is the boss I'd rather have my teeth drilled without anaesthetic. Horses Swill is a daft buffoon but McDonald is the one who spoiled the show when it was on Real radio, shouting over people he disagreed with & in general, being a tosser. Which is exactly what he is, the bandy legged ****.
