I hope Mike Ashley is watching and has an ounce of sense...

It all sounds so eerily familiar to last season already.

"Hey come on, we were never gonna win that one BUT winnable home games coming up"

Exactly what games do we view as 'winnable' these days with any real conviction?
Does being at SJP these days even hold any advantage, given a SAME crop of players who seem more scared in front of their own?

I really can't see a well drilled, motivated, buoyed West Ham side showing up to roll over particularly given their result last term.
Nolan, Carroll and Allardyce will love the prospect to stick the boot in. Again.

Then Fulham and Darren Bent? That's a poetic script you just know we'll gleefully follow.

Yes, it's only after one game I predicted would be a 4-0 defeat. So why so quick to be negative?
But I'm sorry this summer has been 100% successful at carrying over the negativity from last season for most and frankly I don't see it as being negative anymore, it's just realism.

The time to stop caring is long overdue. I just wish I could stop...

I had to chuckle at the irony of this message considering your handle here...

The score itself doesn't mean anything - I expected a thumping.

What I didn't expect was absolutely awful first touches and pure panic whenever we had the ball. Didn't really see Cisse do anything. Not that you can blame him when we're tracking back.

I didn't understand Ben Arfa off for S Ameobi - What?

We need to get over Cabaye - Think of the positives - Bringing money in and the thought of getting someone else to replace him. Surely Ashley isn't stupid enough not to realise he's our best player. I thought he was his favourite too?

All that aside - Lets wait to see other teams play team 'buy the league' before you start spouting relegation.
