My only negative was that Walters started with Crouch and Adam was dropped in favour of Whelan, I would have liked complete change from last terms line up. In his defence he needs to make assessments before dropping players.
When we heard the team news Smither's most said. Pennant and Adam should have started. I would also have brought Jerome on, not Jones. Walters? didn't do that much tbh. One great shot first half but spoilt a good day out, by missing a pen. AGAIN! In fairness to Crouch, the guy didn't have much as I thought Ehter's was poor as was Whelan. I'm sure that MH will see what happened and sort it for the Palace game.
I suppose it's difficult to judge him on a previous managers squad, my assessment will be based on how his line up and formation changes as he evolves and develops the team.

It was reported on Radio Stoke that MH is not in fact in Spain but he flew to Turkey. Perhaps he has gone to watch Tuncay

You have a point there Nicky.. I take another positive from Saturday's game. SHOTTON was not even on the bench!! Something has changed, all be it only something. I would think in honesty that Fella Nini and Baines are to pricey for Stoke. That said, I might be after Hughes head IF we don't bring in a very good striker.
