..9 hours time and i'll be away. Quite a strange feeling, i must say. I have to say, i haven't had a seconds doubt about any of this, even the grand send off last night, and the bearhugs and handshakes of my close pals who i'll see sporadically going forward never waivered my thoughts, so that's a winner... I'll be on here lots, but i may be without a connection for a few days, depending how quick it is to get things up and running over there. Enjoyed the typically English **** weather today, had a little drive around the city, and around Newcastle, really relaxing actually, enjoyed it, despite a hangover that could have reduced a bison to tears. Wherever i am in the world, i'll be a proud Mackem, indeed proud to be from England's wonderful north east, with our passionate people and strong if often completely bollocks opinions, i'm gonna miss a few things about our once great land, a lot of things to be fair. However, 2 new business ventures, doing a job i love, sun , sea and sand. The wonderfully sociable nature of the Andalucian people, and a beautiful apartment with a golf course attached, and an unobstructed sea view, topped off with a magnificent tan. Goodbye England, i'll miss you. Hola Espana, i think i'm gonna fall in love with you. All the best lads, and remember, you rabble are my eye on the lads now, and i'm gonna get you all hooked on Malaga CF! It's going to be mad....

The ground looks fantastic mind, one of those open bowl type Spanish affairs, and i hear the atmosphere is great, really loud, looking forward to the big derby with Sevilla, and of course the Barca, Real and Valencia games. They'll probably clash with our ****ing derbies mind...
