Spent loads of time reading all your comments and have provided me with lots of laughs, especially last week's thread on Rickie's goal but this is my first posting!! But thought I'd just say that the bit in Spanish which was not translated expressed how upset he was in Rome, how he did not like the press, or the hinchas....a spanish word for fans/hooligans! All in all, he seems to be very relieved to be out of there and was not a happy lad! Let's hope he shows his class here now especially with the love in at Saints. If I can find the answer he gave in Spanish, I'll translate for you all!
True, but Hampshire is mostly rural. And Southampton is one of the greenest cities [in that I mean trees, grass and hedges, etc...] in the whole of the UK. Unfortunately, we are still recovering from the 60's architecture, put up to paper over the cracks opened by that well known Austrian demolition bloke.
We will have to make sure that he doesn't venture too far down the Eastbound M27 or he might high tail it back home.
I like him already. He's a character and football needs characters (provided he doesn't go ape**** on someone!) I obviously have some concerns simmering, naturally. But it's a fresh start and lets hope he sees it as a clean slate. Seems to be mutual respect and understanding between MP and DO.
Just had a little thought about the League One team. There were still 4 of them in there against WBA. Fonte, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Lambert, with Kelvin on the bench. Kind of makes me proud that they're still there.
