We played the gulls on the way to our glorious Wembley final if I'm not mistaken........think they were beating us for quite some time as well!
Well worth trying to get a cup run on the go in that competition, would help galvanise the team.

We won this competition and went marching on to the promised land. You won the FA Cup and look where you are now. Make of it what you will.

    Purely by coincidence.

You were rescued from administration by a German/Swiss businessman.

We were taken into administration by a Russian businessman and was then caught up in the middle of a feud with him, his gun-running father and a bunch of Israeli/Malaysian crooks.

Ah, the joys of multi cultural Portsmouth.

No one said we weren't the luckiest football supporters in history.

Did I read that one of the crooks (or maybe he was a goodie, I dunno) was assassinated last week? Might have been in the snooze.

Aaaah - this was the Orville connection.

The father (Hussein Najadi) of one of Keith Harris's merry band of investors was gunned down - his son Pascal Najadi is now in hiding in Russia.

Our thanks go to the FL for not entertaining the failed former FA or FL? Chairman as a potential owner of the club. However, the SLAPP which was slapped on Micah Hall for his brilliant blog on the Najadi family has been thrown out of court, after he was sacked as a client of the dodgy law firm to the rich and famous.

This has resulted in yet another fighting fund being set up as Pascal Najadi, who is now responsible for all costs incurred so far, cannot be found and Micah Hall's lawyers need to be paid.

All this because Arkadi Gaydamak reneged on a business deal with Chanrai and others.

But never mind, Pompey fans went to war and saw off the Israeli/Malaysian/Hong Kong/Russian army of crooked dealers.

It's so wrong that someone has to remortgage to defend themselves against spurious court action, that's why we need libel reform. Bit off topic I know.

Micah Hall was always going to win this one - he has always used information which is already in the public domain.

The SLAPP is a bullying tactic used by the rich and famous. Most people can't afford the legal fees to defend themselves.

This time though the defendant has a whole city behind him <ok>

The ever excellent SJ Maskell has wrote another piece for 200%.

For anyone that wanted to contribute towards the fund, they can do so via Pompey's 12th Man. I believe that if Micah is successful in getting his costs paid (although that seems remote) the money will be used to purchase shares.

I'd like to go down there, dev, but can't get any time off work at the moment.

I like South Devon, and Torquay have a lovely little ground <ok>
