Transfer news: Arsenal look to bring in £25m Michu from Swansea as deals for Luis Suarez and Wayne Rooney hit the buffers Hold on to your hats ...Here comes the last chance saloon bids....Hope we can keep him with what he can get at arsenal....
If a bit of 25m came in for him from Arsenal, I don't think we could turn it down. What I don't want is Arsenal to mess us about and try and do the deal last minute, leaving us **** creak without a paddle. Just a thought then, could Poz play in the same role as Michu? Bloody transfer window pi55es me off, I believe that all deals should be done before the season starts, so all done and dusted by the 1st of August. Ah well lets wait and see what happens.
IF and its a bif IF this happened then I would try and buy Lukaku and Siggurdson P.S. Starting bid should be closer to £30 million imo.
£25m ?? I think it would be the beginning of the end for this swans team if that happened, especially so close to the transfer window closing. I think Michu will want to stay loyal to Laudrup, so unless Laudrup has sanctioned it I cant see this happening. Michu seems to enjoy his life down here and imnot sure money is his main motivation, why go to Arsenal and play in a position he doesn't even like ? Michu is not a striker so why the **** would Arsenal give us £25m for a player who doesn't like to play striker and doesn't score his goals from a strikers position ? weird !
Cos Wenger is crapping it NJ pure and simple.....and it appears that Arteta will be out for six weeks.
Didn't he say last season he would stay with us as long as Laudrup stays with us? Maybe he will go to Arsenal with Laudrup (can see him being their manager next season) next year
Dilli, I've seen the same story on four of todays papers, so might be just paper talk. Michu is part of his plan B list of players.
Laudrup is not going to sell michu with about 2 weeks of the window remaining, the swans will not have the time to get a replacement, and lets be honest is there the correct player available for our team i don't see it, especially for the wages we pay
I did see an interview with Laudrup, with him stating the same thing. Something on the lines of it takes a lot of time to scout new players and sort a deal out, and if no bids came in soon then NO player will be allowed to leave, which I think is fair.
I know the gunners are in real trouble with injuries, and a poor transfer summer, but I really don't buy this Dai, the London tabloids have been targeting little old Swansea all summer, this is a none starter in my view, what's the point of having £25 million, and dropping like a stone back to the Championship?............
Waiting for a reaction from Arsenal after yesterdays results, but unless we have a counter measure to Michu leaving, I cant see him going. I also think that in this no moral world of football these days that Michu is above it and will stay with Swansea for at least this season as long as Laudrup stays and promises him a chance to leave next year, but, then again, nothing will suprize me if he does leave.
Mikra, is all your Swans coverage being cut over there now ? my tv2 deal has been well shafted by sky . Sky will now only allow one 3 oclock game to be shown live in Europe, of course this ean that the swans will hardly ever be featured unless they play the big teams,it means me having to wait a few hours to watch the whole game now, pretty much like sky in the uk , im not happy about this but im wondering if the swans will be featured as the main 3 o clock game in Denmark,if it is I may see if I can get it from there somehow. nightmare !
