Who have made an audacious smash and grab raid on the Stadium of Light. Eyewitnesses said it wasn't pretty and it wasn't ugly, it was pretty ugly! They stole all 3 points and rendered the present encumbants of the establishment speechless.

Great start from the boys. Disappointed for Richardson and Steckelenberg, who made a great save in the first half.

Good point! Not that I was feeling bad about it anyway - just euphoric. Come On You Whites!

I'm so glad we stole all three points, because can now eventually get over them winning three points at the Cottage last year. I remember there first goal coming from a move started by us hitting their cross bar and also despite playing with ten men Mignolet getting man of the match

The trouble was that the home defeat was more than just 3 points lost, with ongoing consequences for us - red card, injuries etc. Also galling since they were one of the worst teams I saw at The Cottage last year.

However, The Stadium Of Light is becoming a good place for Fulham, starting with a 3-0 win followed by a couple of draws (the first being a dire 0-0) and now a snatched 3 points.

The fact that Sunderland really needed to win this game as well and had probably had this impressed on them by Di Canio is also something that makes this win particularly good. Sunderlands next 7 home matches are:

    Arsenal
    Liverpool
    Man Utd
    Newcastle
    Man City
    Chelsea
    Tottenham

It's 21st December before they get a game against a team that are roughly on the same level as them - Norwich (okay, you could argue Newcastle but that's one hell of a derby match). That is one tough run of home games.
