Just watching Bundesliga highlights on ITV4. Really impressed.

Shalke 3 Hamburg 3 - brilliant, packed stadium (have a look TF), goals - thought the defending was weak, but then noticed that both teams were getting huge numbers of players in the box at every opportunity

Mainz 3 Stuttgart 3 - so far we are on about 10 minutes of highlights, all of it genuinely exciting, an entire MOTD's worth in one game. Again a packed, raucous stadium

Every game can't be like this, but great football played without fear.

They've got the balance right in pretty well every facet of the game, cheap tickets which include transport to and from the stadium, standing areas which can be converted for all-seat European matches and fan-owned clubs. The action on the pitch isn't too shabby either...

German football is great, the prices are excellent and its everything English football isn't.

No one person is allowed to own them either unless they've been a part owner for at least ten plus years.

Not in the future! Old rule - therefore Bayer Leverkusen or Wolfsburg are owned by Bayer respective Volkswagen. Not possible any longer. The "Verein" (sportsclub, mutal, no stock company) has to keep 50+1 votes. Even 2. Bundesliga is exciting with a lot od people in the stadium (1860 Munich (!), Cologne, Düsseldorf, Kaiserslautern, Dresden, St. Pauli Hamburg or Cottbus).

I thought that was because they were part owners for so long.

Watched the highlights on Monday 10pm....they need goal line technology aswell...Hoffenheim dead unlucky, lad chips the keeper, ball bouces 2 feet behind line but he put so much spin on it the ball spun back into play....keeper walks over picks up ball and ref waves play on!!!!!!

Agree the programme is what MOTD/FLS should be like.....
