Banned Swans

Look Cartoonead we been meeting the english as Wales number one club for yrs so please don`y advise , ok you got to the Prem first thro playoff lottery but we WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP, ..we have been to nearly every ground in the league and the fans have known us before your team ****e yellow so come on .........;O)

 

Taff, as John and Bean declared that they wish to remain banned on the Swans board I will leave the bans in place. It's up to you to decide what you want to do regarding our banned posters.

 

OK - that's the olive branch shoved firmly up my arse! Will put it down to the over exuberance of youth! But my opinion remains the same and I will continue to appeal to both swans and bluebirds to put the petty point scoring to one side and support BOTH Welsh teams in the 'English' Premier League!

John, you PM'd me recently to help you out, and I did that in good faith. So please reserve your insults to those who deserve them! Whatever you believe, I am not the enemy; I judge people by who they are, not who they support, and would be grateful if you could look past the chip on your shoulder and do the same!

You alas are now one of very few. No lets get that right the only one I would like to converse with.

My aim was to only post once the Swans had been banished from our board but this thread asked for Cardiff members thoughts.

Understandable reaction given recent history Gransha! But will continue to post on here as have a lot of time for many of the Cardiff posters!

Agree Cartoon but please dont try to preach to Cardiff fans as we were and still are bigger club , been more places than you will ever go ,you have had your 5mins of fame now we are here ;O)

John - am not preaching - and please get over your obsession with size! Don't give a toss about this bigger club bollox - smacks of 'my daddy is bigger than yours'! Size don't matter, but is one of the many problems on these boards! All that I am trying to do is pour a little oil on the problems between us!

Understand that hate is your way of dealing with your problems, but it solves nothing! All it leads to is bitterness! Your constant bile saddens me, and it will only lead to problems later in life.

I have been a professional musician for many years, and during that time have played with some of the best musicians in the world! Many of them have come from Cardiff and have been some of the best friends I have had in my life! For this reason I will never slag off Cardiff City because to do so would disrespect my best friends!

I have played gigs with my Cardiff mates all over the world - just about every country - not just the sad little English ones that make up the Premier League of football! So please don't say that you have been to more places I will ever know!

Have played all across Scandinavia - done a 3 month tour of Europe - headlined a tour of South America; Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Peru and Bolivia and even played two weeks in New Zealand!

So don't talk to me about 5 minutes of fame - have done it!

Football is a nice distraction - and I really enjoy it - but is only a game! So enjoy supporting your bigger club - but please don't preach to me about 5 minutes of fame - live a little and then come back to me!

And I will continue to ask for respect for both our great clubs - have had it up to here with the bollox posted in recent weeks and I couldn't give a **** which team is bigger. So live a little John, experience life and when you have experiences to relate on here - come back and share them with us. Until then, have a little humility and have the decency to 'live and let live'!

You might get some sense from the decent ones like Taff, BFB, etc etc but some are beyond hope.

Going down to the Liberty at about 3pm to start selling the next issue of ATFV! Will be in the Harvester for food at about 4pm! Gimme a call and can meet up for a pint!

Really it is only about 3 or 4 of them who destroy the board (and I think they would say the same). So it seems reasonable to keep those people off the board and remove any new ones that pop along. Up to the mods really.

 

Id be happy to clear the slate and try again......as a gesture of goodwill.
John....you might listen to the advice, despite the source some good points made.

 

Mustys ban should be lifted. Should never have been banned in the 1st place in my opinion.

Him and JH should just put each other on ignore.

 

Lift all bans and everybody starts with a clean slate, Personally i dont have a problem with any of the jacks that post

 

Don't like banning anyone, but something had to be done. Taff handled it well and took a lot of **** off some jacks on here for his efforts.

Some may think mistakes were made, but to have done nothing at all would have been "dereliction of duty" as our appointed moderator. Where we go from now on here is a matter of personal opinion.

Removing all bans and starting afresh could be the best way, but if the same **** rears its' head again, we may lose more decent posters on here than last time and just be left with the thicker skinned element who like arguing for its' own sake.

Fine call, but let's remove the bans and give it a go.

 

I think we should start afresh, and if the unbanned put a toe out of place, ban 'em again.
