Laudrup has knocked this one out of the park by the looks of it, top job by our manager.

Speaking on Sky Laudrup has said that Michu will not be going anywhere even for a crazy amount of money! he also went on to ay that the board would say no to any deal no mater the fee involved "as what is the point of being the richest club in the championship"

Laudrup spoke to Michu earlier this season and when Michu asked about if he(laudrup )intended to stay, the answer was yes and Michus reply was "so am I "

Its pretty much a **** you Arsenal statement actually, and it seems everyone is pulling together on this one, as I said a few days ago I don't for one minute think Michu is the kind of guy to stab Laudrup in the back and want to leave, the project is Swansea for Laudrup and the Spanish boys and the project looks like it has a season or two to run .

    Happy day s :)

He also kind of says you'd be in a relegation battle without him. "what's the point of being the richest club in the championship".

Have I missed the point of the article or is it only you guys on our board that get to do that?

    Who are you mate ?

And your point is? Of course the swans would struggle without it's best players, that's basic common sense something that you appear to have very little of <ok>

Oh I thought he was referring to Cardiff and their new found wealth and being debt free, so next season you will be the richest club in the championship. So what's the point in selling our best players and being as rubbish as the redtits :)

    Liar, liar, crap quote!

Anyway, if Laudrup does leave us (as expected because he said he was only staying two years), we will have a suitable replacement lined up, who will take us forward again :1980_boogie_down:

Happy days being a JACK, well its always a happy day being a Jack, whereas your rag bag shower of sh*t excuse for a club are just a soulless entity <rofl>

Always a pleasure to see a newcomer exercising restraint. Do keep it up,as the actress said to the bishop.

I can't help but think that Wenger has lost his edge, or his fire. Arsenals big warchest has lead him to 0 purchases this year. Granted, it is easier to strengthen Swansea than Arsenal, but Laudrup was out and about at the get go, with a list of players he wanted. And not getting them, quickly showed he had backup options ready too. Heck, even Brendan Rodgers has the spark in him, going for it, and being all in so to speak. Wenger is like; hohumm, so... I should buy a player I guess, what does the fans want, what will keep them quiet.

Surely Wenger is not going to be the comeback kid, it's just not in his personality. Seems to me he is on autopilot.

Meechewe may not be going but the odds are he is a just a one season wonder.
Laudrup has one more season left with Swansea.

With what I have seen so far during the Pre season friendlies, is that now we have an out and out striker in Bony, Michu will be even better. Might not get the same goal tally as last season, but his intelligent play, and movement from deep will cause defender massive problems. We have goals now through out the team in, Bony, Shelvey, Poz, Dyer, Hernanadez etc even KI will get goals this season.

So I'm nailing my shirt to the mast and predict the goals scorers tally.

    Bony - 18
    Michu - 14
    Shelvey - 8
    Dyer - 6
    Hernandez - 8
    Poz - 8
    Ki- 4

Feel free to post your predictions!!!

If you're right Yankee, we're in for on hell of a season.
