You're the gaffer. No one wants to buy him. So he has to stay. Which one will be No.1 on your team sheet?
Overall, I think Cesar is slightly the better keeper and on that basis, I chose him. I would choose Green ahead of him at the moment simply because he wants to play for us.
Mainly green because he has a longer and more accurate goal kick. I don't see Cesar hoofing it across the halfway line onto the waiting head of Charlie Austin. Plus with the influx of English players, it's better to have an English keeper?
Voted Green, since Cesar is not in with us for the long haul, plus he played crap before Green stepped in to finish off last season. Would rather see Murphy on the bench too.
Voted Green - IMO I think Cesar is overrated. Remembered for one or two class saves (home to Chelski) but the real clangers (Home to Reading, away to Villa) are forgotten about. Oh, and he's a money grabbing barsteward.
Cesar is, without doubt a much better keeper than Green, but he doesn't want to play for us. On that basis I voted for Green.
Green all day. Last season was a shambles and that was down to players not caring for the shirt enough. Cesar was one of those, so I voted Green.
Also his away performance against Swansea made Michu look like Messi. Cesar is top international keeper no doubt, but His heart have never been with him in London. So its Green for me because he is better goalkeeper than we think.
Rob Green has to be the choice for the season. I've always been sceptical about how slow he is at getting down for low shots but we need consistency and continuity. Throwing in Cesar now would upset the balance and we can't afford that to happen
Very difficult, whilst he may be looking elsewhere if he's stuck Cesar will be wanting to perform for his World Cup spot. I'd tell Green he retains the spot if he keeps performing. If he slips it gets handed to Cesar and down to him to retain number 1.
Sure, Cesar from a quality keeper perspective but what about from a loyalty point of view. Cesar does not give a rats a_rse whereas Green, has made his point regarding where his heart is and that is with QPR. Again, to me, loyalty wins hands down. What we lack here we'll make it up in other areas. We are a team ............ let's do some good, together.
Cesar is better IMO. but is he cut out for the rigors of a Championship season, rainy nights in Barnsley etc? Doubt it. I think Green would be suited to this league more than he might. Wondered about Cesar's commitment to the cause towards the end of last year. Doubt it would improve.
