...He's going 2-1 to us this weekend. That's put the kiss of death on that then.

Hope the logic in his explanation works this season. "Norwich can't score goals, sign someone gooder at scoring goals, then they score more goals and win".

I do hope it's that simple!

I'm not expecting anything out of this weekend. Really looking forward to the season starting again but I just think we're going to take a few games to gel and become a team unit. I think Everton are going to turn us over and Lawro's positive prediction just confirms my fear. Sorry to be a downer but it's winter here in Aus and when the temperature plummets to a freezing 19 degrees centigrade, i get a bit depressed.

I think Everton might take a few games to get used to the Martinez system of play, resulting in a bit of a scrappy game. But I'm in positive mood and we can do this. Lawro get it right this week - even a blind squirrel .......

true, they've had their changes too... I'd feel a lot more positive if we had Fer in the team for this one. Guaranteed to knock one past Everton. Hope Johnson / Tettey / Howson seize their chance to make Fer's inclusion next week a tougher call.

Isn't it great though? I've got a goofy expression on my face this morning and am starting to get a tingly feeling. I might just be suffering the onset of a stroke, but I think it's more likely to be the joy and excitement of the whole damn shooting match about to lumber into action for another season of wonder!
Gotta be one of the best times of the year, this - right on the edge of it all...

Here's hoping he's right. McNulty sees real scope for potential improvement and then puts us 16th well behind the vastly overrated Aston Villa and West Ham
