Have you seen Bale's latest e-mail from his fellow Welshman (copyright L.Suarez)? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23703265
Now where would Robbie Savage have learned a bunch of underhand, dishonest and frankly disgusting tricks in the transfer market? "Savage started his playing career as a trainee striker at Manchester United."
I think he was suggesting he learned it from all the many players who have employed such tactics to get into utd, and from Fergie, who no doubt coaches said players while they are the property of other clubs
My apologies Spurm. I came on your board today with the intention of having a sensible discussion about transfers and got drawn into a HIAG spat. I really don't know how he is allowed to get away with it, yet the clown even believes he will be your next mod? Anyway, I shall leave it here and stay off your board until that fool is disposed of. Peace.
Don't be a silly billy. I didn't realise there was a queue to become the next mod. Mind you, i don't even know who are current mods are apart from YV who tells me off occassionally.
For the first time this window I'm a little worried about Bale. Just struck me that we could have sold him to Madrid months ago, but as part of the 'partnership' we are keeping hold of him til the end of the summer so we can attract good replacements for reasonable prices. It seems to fit together... Bale not playing... Madrid not being THAT aggressive in their pursuit of him...
Bale is still on the BT sport promotions (on the channel). Being the first time I've watched it I can't say whether its more, less or the same though. Oh the novelty of having sports channels, watching baseball! The commentators go mental about 'bare hand plays', whatever
As someone previously stated, this is irrelevant. BT will not have any inside information on any transfer deals.
Actually, it's more relevant than anything that has been reported on the saga so far other than the quotes from AVB, but yes irrelevant.
AVB has admitted that Bale may have played his last game for Spurs http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/premierleague/article3844158.ece
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...stand-off-increases-over-forwards-future.html (for those that don't pay for the times). The alarming part is where Avb says '' he doesn't speak ''. disappointing if Bale has taken savages option of the silent treatment as it sounds like Bale is turning up to the club, not talking, doing what he has to do then going home.
AVB could be referring to the press... In his somewhat stilted or unusual English; ie how do you know anything? He hasn't said anything to you so don't speculate! Speaking of speculation, sterling journalism coming up: "He refused to answer questions about his future and has thus far declined to publicly give any hint of his intentions, though he has repeatedly told Spurs that he is desperate to move on." Fanbloodytastic.
