Yeh, thats what I'm thinking, long may it continue. Lambert offers so much more to the team that Carroll.
Rickie's even made it into GLAMOUR magazine... http://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/news/features/2013/08/rickie-lambert-score-for-england-v-scotland
I'd say his motivation is pretty high at the moment, so yeh, good chance he'll be on the score sheet soon I reckon knowing our Rickie.
That was the first miss of his career I think. But since joining Saints Rickie has exceeded everything that has been asked of him. Can't think of anyone who has achieved what he has since I've been watching football.
Apprently since last night of 09:30 this morning Lambert has been transferred into peoples BPL fantasy football teams 30'000 times.
Another interview with Rickie, this time with FATV...
Lunchtime already and we haven't made a bid for him. WTF is going on???? Great bloke and was delighted for him last night. I hope he gets plenty more chances to show the rest of us just how good he is. Not against Arsenal though
The player ratings in that paper are bullshit. Do I see Baines on a 6 and Wilshere on a 7? Did he even watch the game?
All the papers and pundits suggesting England need a plan B/new ideas, why can't Lambert be just that? He is completely different to any other striker that England can offer. Also, Roy owes him another chance, the media would have absolutely mauled Hodgson if England hadn't won.
