Blimey, Norwich aren't messing around on the signings front. Reminds me of another recently-promoted club... (But to be clear, I think they'll fare better than the Tesco carrier bag-donning jokers down the road)
I'm not going to say that their signings aren't decent, because they certainly are, but will their team gel instantly in order to get off to a crucial good start? Inserting 5-6 new signings into the team at once is tricky, but Hughton has done the right thing in bringing most of them in early. Could be dark horses for top 8 this season if Hooper/Wolfswinkel click.
I think they'll be ok. They've still only signed a little over half the amount of players QPR signed, and they've got a proper manager in charge.
And joke of the day - these two twonkers from down the road:
Nice comedy skit which hits on pretty much most of the differences: What Might Happen If A Football Coach Coached Soccer
Another one making the wrong move - "Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits that he is looking at options for goalkeeper Jack Butland. He could be loaned to a Football League club... Maybe heading back to Birmingham City? with Hughes in charge you cant really see him having much of a future, was a daft move anyway as he knew he wouldnt be playing regular, should of just stayed at Blues and stayed a regular..." Or come to us in January, idiotic move with Begovic on front of him and moved on the assumption that Begovic would join a top club this season, despite none of them actually needing a new goalkeeper. Could have been our number one and now will rot in the Championship. Good.

I made my annual trip to England last week and drove through Birmingham, Stoke, Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Manchester and Hull, amongst others. Gave me an appreciation for the warmth and visual appeal of Craven Cottage.
In the spirit of Surlyc's post, I thought I'd add NBC's latest attempt to woo American viewers. Y'all get by far the best review of any fans in the league. (PS. For the record, my friends and I agree that NBC stands for Notoriously Bad Coverage, so take it with a ton of salt.) http://www.nbcsports.com/joe-posnanski/how-pick-premier-league-club
Yeah, right .... after reading this in the Fulham section I didn't bother to look at the rest - " Why you should be a fan: Fantastic old stadium with a Michael Jackson statue out front. What else could anyone want. Fantastic history. Super friendly fans -- Fulham is the only team in England that has a “neutral” section where fans of neither team can sit and watch." Reckon old Joe should live up to his name and go for a Posnan free transfer.
As if Robbie Savage wasn't a dislikeable **** already: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23703265
Savage's 11 point guide ... illuminating and entertaining. I bet he tried every single one of those tricks during his career.
I think Savage's article underlines the importance of character in any new signing. Savage is a character, but he doesn't seem to have character. There's a big difference.
very interesting article in one of todays dailys By "Tara",made a lot of sence sems to be maturing, lets hope so and he turns out ok.
Saw this goal on BBC highlights last night - will keep an eye on the player, mysterious background and plucked from obscurity, only 22 and this his first game
