I know im resigning myself that he wont be fit for any games this season to avoid disapointment. If he plays its a bonus.
I have every bit of faith in OShea ,Roberge and Diakite though!

I think this seasons going to be a similar scenario as Spurs had with Ledley King a few years ago. He'll only play every other match.
Wish he was on a pay as you play contract!

Hopefully this sort of thing will be minimized in the PdC fitness regime. I suspect we'll just have to lump it in WB's case, as he seems to be one of those fragile players, like Owen or Anderton.

    What a surprise.

"Sorry boss, opened a tin of tuna and pulled a hamstring. I'm on the sick again. Really upset i'll get no win bonus with me £20k per week."

"By the way, did you know av played for England?"

    Get shot.

Thats not the issue. The cover isn't the issue.

Its his inability to play that is the issue.

What did we expect he can't go a season without getting injured for about 6 months

No good having a player with all the moves and skill but can't use them. Tell you what. I'm 53, overweight but used to be a pretty good center half. Give me a go. I promise to lose the weight. Never had a problem with me knees/ back / ankles / calves / thighs.

Al do it for £10k a week.

    This is stupid.

    They shoot horses, don't they?

if he plays with a injury then he suffers further , get real , this is top grade football its part and parcel of the game, the same miserable pessimists on here as ever, nothing like getting behind your team is there.

I cannot believe it...I am a great fan of his...but he is a fragile crock...no chance to build a consistent side...Mensah all over again...we have to get ride of him for the teams sake..
