I guess he's probably saying exactly the same as Kim when he signed for us. Both wanted to play in the premier league and will do this season. If they are able to keep us up, and put in top draw performances at the same time, well get on with it and do your best. If they get poached by bigger teams you can bet they won't be sold at a loss.
If he's that brilliant we can double our money on him next summer, I would expect his contract to have some sort of buy out clause even if we stay up. I think the reason VT is shopping in the 20-26 bracket is to realise appreciating player values. I have no issue with that as long as a good percentage is reinvested in the next bunch. I'd rather a player with ambition to play for the top 4 than some ****er who sees us as the best pay day he can get for the next 2-3 years.
Swansea fan in peace - looks like a good signing. Adds a bit of meat to the spine - Bellamy, Medel, Hudson, people won't fancy playing against those fellas. As far as what he said in an interview a) at least he's honest and b) he's got drive. Far better than someone on the way down at the end of their career, or having got found out and moving on down.
Agree with that Goodland, just not what you expect to hear in his first interview. I'd rather have a younger, hungry player than some of the mercenaries QPR signed last year.
I think he is what we need hopefully a massive presence, someone with experience of playing against the best (messi, et al) and his style will hopefully suit the British game

Think Medel will be a star whether he plays in red, blue or pink - the colour of a shirt makes no difference whatsoever! We have an away strip of purple and yellow!! Hated it at first, but it has begun to grow on me!
