Just a thread for those who feel the whole thing has been well and truly overdone and should now be put to bed, for the sake of the team (and sanity)
Could not agree more. A lot of fuss when not required. I have got my season ticket for City next year. I may well have my season card to watch Hull Tigers but it just does not make any difference. There are one or two on here who imply they are quite big hitters in the business world -(oh how they imply it!)who have got into such a flap I doubt they are quite the forces they would like us to believe. I love it when competitors of mine get carried away with an irrelevance-easy pickings for the rest of us
Im not bothered We are still Hull City and Still the Tigers To many posatives for a little name change to worry about
'cos I expected all kinds of vitriolic remarks from posters who don't like their posts being commented on and discussed !
We're Hull City AFC, our nickname is The Tigers. I pity those dim passive people who accept whatever new stupid variant name gets excreted out in the name of 'trendy' or 'will appeal to people who don't know about football.'
Cannot remember 2000 on the Udders protest.Oh forgot it is easy to sign a petition and let the world know you have. I bet Nelson Mandela will share the outrage of the name change. This issue is huge-NOT!
Tell that to all the bloggers, pundits and journalists worldwide who have expressed concern over the ****ishness of the proposal.
