Sam Allardyce is set to have a medical at West Ham.....
After agreeing to buy Stewart Downing for £6 million.

  4. Terrifying due <laugh>

PS...I think they'll do at West ham what Kenny wanted them to do at Liverpool. Difference being Allardyce will play them at the same time <whistle>

And at least he got one against United. Weighing up everything including transfer fee I think Downing has to be our worst ever signing.

Really? Aqualani surely comes out above him. Downing contributed a few goals and assists last year and was also available, unlike Aqualani, who came, played a couple of decent games then got **** went out on loan, got injured again and then got sold at a £15mil loss.

Aquilani gets forgotten somewhat cause he hardly played (for us) . When you stick his loss in with Carroll downing Adam ,the money spent on joe Coles wages etc then it's a frightening sum. Enough for us to top arsenals bid for Suarez !

I disagree - in the limited appearances Aquilani made, he still contributed more than Downing in his entire career at Liverpool. Once Aqua came back from injury and had a decent run in the side, he scored a couple, bagged a few assists and won a couple of MOTM awards (I think). It's a shame because he is a classy player but his attitude and injury record aren't the best.

Good player, didn't work out, some don't - Somew muppets wouldd've got rid of Molby after his first disastrous season. So what if we spent on English players when every ****er and her transsexual sister were claiming it was 6+5 for the rest of time? Better we can spend too much after almost going into administration than not enough - *cough*clintfuckingdempsey*cough*.

Man of the Match at the Carling Cup final, what we won. Thanks, Stewie, we'd never have done it without you.

Good luck to the best proper left winger we'd had in a long time and the player who most surprised Capello on taking the England job.
