Chaplain? I don't do religion of any description, musty, thank God. As it happens, I'm the thicko of the family. I write; my daughter is the artist (she goes mad if I use that word instead of painter); my son is a writer and a musician. By the way, "conference" is far too grand a term for what I do. I tend to be invited to writer's groups/circles, libraries, schools, universities, that sort of thing. The audience is usually select (read small) with a maximum of about 50 people and the theme is usually about general, historical and crime fiction. Small beer to be honest but I enjoy it when I do it, frequently without remuneration. But the craic is the thing and I get to meet some really interesting people.

It turns out, it is a rare natural phenomenon. You see it infront of forest fires. And on a larger scale, you see it when an ice age sets in. Animals passing you by like this, is a sight of impending doom. Isn't that a tidbit, Bible knows this. Cartoonists do not.
