Glad you think so,I really am. Pity I think you are wrong. Just like Newcastle, ours will have to be a bit of a longer game than the one the owners have imposed on us; but forgotten, dream on,mate.
I never said it will become forgotten, yet it will become less of an issue overtime, yet right now you can't see this and obviously as a hull fan you would feel more initial backlash towards the owners yet as a fan, do you believe your chairman has good intentions?
For the majority of our time we were bumping about at the bottom of tHe fourth division? Aside from your inability to spell fourth, is their any end to your lack of knowledge?
Not if we get dicked on every week. If he had good intentions he would've asked the fans. It's not his club/ play thing just because he put money into it.
The biggest issue we have isnt the media or people outside of Hull, its the people inside Hull. Some seem to revel in bad news, gloom and doom, and self fulfilling prophecies of disaster are what they live and feed on. There's never a silver lining in anything for some, and they always expect the worst of people. I understand its rooted in our past, and that has been the majority of our experience, but just once in a blue moon, it's possible that everything isn't as bad as some make out.
after what I have heard today the HDM have a LOT to answer for ... they have stoked the fire on a non subject ... to put it simply .. the Allams have said what NT said a few weeks ago ... the only difference is the badge change next year .. football wise WE ARE NOT CHANGING ... you got that people ?
Simply selfish motives are behind this; he likes to be grandiose in his gestures, so yes and no, good for him and **** the club's heritage and the support who got it this far.
Why don't they come out and say that then? Why did they refuse to do an interview? You lot who think it's a good idea are talking ****e.
Do fairies play at the bottom of your garden?
So AA will keep a name that he has insulted, grow up ffs. He will totally rebrand us, he will leverage as much financial and commercial benefit in that process, the manager (if true to his beliefs) will find him increasingly difficult to work for and then we will be sold. The buyer will probably be another ****wit who gets his kicks by duping folk and then dumping them. This is a direct result of the stadium debacle; he is cutting his losses.
You can't reach them mate they're living in la la land, where they think some Asian kid will just go into a sports shop in Bangcock or Chittagong and buy our shirt over something like a Barcelona shirt with Messi on the back, just because it's got their national symbol on it. They think we can attract multi million pound businesses to invest- Tiger Beer. **** me you're joking! Right? What do we have now? We have Cash Converters and a shoddily made template Adidas kit. Not going to happen is it? What's the biggest joke is, these people think we can take a slice of the Asian market in a short period of time, when it's taken the likes of Man City ages, spending millions in the process, and actually being successful on the pitch, and they still don't have any fans over there. Most likely we'll struggle and be relegated within one or two years. If we stay up for three that'll be major success.
FFS its got nowt to do with Asian markets-just the continuing spat with the Council. AA said on LN to Peter Levy some months back about not talking to the Council ever again about the stadium. This is his way of getting his own back. The guy's used to getting his own way in business. End result we the fans suffer. Lets home we don't end up playing our home games at Scunny and ending in a similar vein to that currently being played out due to the intransigence between the Ricoh owners and Coventry CITY Football Club.
I think the name change is 50% with an eye to know nowt far eastern investors and 50% 'up yours' to Hull City Council. He really thinks that by removing the word city from our name, it will humiliate our council. Oh dear.
