Likewise, if we can get the win here I'd go Bresnan/Tremlett/Onions personally. Can rest Jimmy and Broad and give Onions and Tremlett a deserved chance to show their worth for the tour down under.

Broad going for 10 wickets in the match, he deserves it.

I went out earlier when Australia were 90-0. Really didn't expect to come back in and to see them 9 wickets down. Just got back in time for the final wicket.

Always knew we were in with a shout if we could break through their opening two after they got going, but didn't quite expect to whistle through them quite so quickly, but always on their cards with the fragility of their batsmen.

Just a shame our top 4 batsmen haven't clicked at the same time. We have made this much closer (run wise) then it should be.

Glad we came through in the end but wasn't as easy to keep the urn as we had originally thought it would be.

Hampshire playing Scotland today, and the Scots are 6/1 with Dimi taking the wicket.

Because the Aussies played above themselves, enough to make a game of it, and we are not at our best. We are head and shoulders above Australia at the moment....to win, the starting four Australian batsmen have to stay in and set a large score, whereas we can score right down the order. The Australians like to think they were nailed on to win the third test, but that was no means certain with their propensity to collapse. They might beat us in a one off, but (at the moment) not in a series.

Durham are currently 14/4 after 6 overs against Essex (Napier 4/6)....with Hants cruising, they could top the group tonight.
With Vince, Carberry and Briggs unavailable for Monday's match against Lancashire, they need a win agaist Surrey on Thurday.

Durham 116/7 now. A slight recovery but Essex still in charge.

My guess would be they're playing for the England Lions.
