Highly doubt that mate Colback and new signing will be our lb options Just like Gards and the new fella will be our rb options Unless of course Colback leaves then I guess it's possible but still can't see it. Rose would cost a lot
Funnily enough mate Fabrizio Romano ‏@FabRomano211m Giaccherini will speake with Quagliarella about Sunderland: the idea is having his preference. Waiting for Juventus decision... #SAFC Fabrizio Romano ‏@FabRomano Difficulties for Matri. Now Sunderland hopes for Quagliarella on loan with option to buy in 2014. Quaglia said yes, Juve is thinking. #SAFC
1 = Celustka - done deal. 2 = Cissokho? 3 = Hallmark midfielder? 4 = Mavrias? TOTAL = no more strikers? So after a brief interlude for some ice cream and a packet of poppets, the SAFC show rolls on...... but the suspense is killing me. who'll be our LB? will we get another striker and as for the elusive CM playmaker role, whees keys are these, like?
Think Cissokho, Mavrias and Huddlestone(although I would prefer Fernandes) will enter the doors at the SoL before kick-off.
Liverpool definitely out of the running for Cissokho, so it may depend on whether he's looking for a move. Mavrias looks more than likely, but not sure about Huddlestone. Is it just Spurs taking their time, i.e. looking for more money, or has PDC got his eye on someone else?
He was here wasnt he, fee & terms agreed, £5k pw paycut to £35k pw, i wonder if its dependant on offloading bardo, catts, vaughan to do the deal
SSN reporting we're the frontrunners for Aly Cissokho. Personal terms agreed but no agreement between us and Valencia Back page of the echo aswell as i trundled passed the newsagents
Sky Sports understands Sunderland are closing in on the signing of Valencia defender Aly Cissokho. The France international has been strongly linked with a switch to England for some time and he is now ready to take on a Premier League challenge. Liverpool have been linked with a move for Cissokho, but it appears they have shelved their interest and switched their attentions to Guilherme Siqueira. It leaves the way clear for the Wearside club with Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio in the market for another left-back. Valencia are thought to be open to the idea of selling Cissokho due to their financial problems, while Sunderland are hoping to land the former Lyon man on loan with a view to a permanent deal. Sources close to the player claim personal terms have been agreed but the terms of the deal have yet to be decided. However, Sunderland could face competition http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8868851/
