Allo folks according to recent SMB and facebook reports via Sunderland banter page, the word coming out of the AOL is that the entire coaching team are said to be very impressed with young JI in terms of his training commitment, fitness and ability. So much so that he is being regarded as one of the squad 5 strikers. Capt Fishpaste on SMB was suggesting that the club deliberately put an inflated transfer fee on his head to ward of the German interest. I for one am chuffed to hear this, very much like Brown, Ji could end up almost as a much welcomed new signing.
The jury is out for me. I thought Ji was too lightweight and very limited...to me his signing was a marketing exercise. But if the kid has improved via his loan period, then good for him...lets see.
Some people have said point blank that he's not good enough on here. Despite no grounds to base it on. He's intrigued me since the day he signed and looking forward to seeing what he's capable of, as I, much like a lot of people, still don't know much about him apart from the fact German football and our own coaching and scouting team rate him highly.
tell yer what Flanders, the lad appears to have bulked up abit, I think you might be pleasantly surprised when you see a more recent pic.
Take a look at this from last season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJ35zOwWbUM He seems to have come back bigger and bulkier and with a few more tricks up his sleeve. The loan to Augsburg has done him wonders. I wonder if they will take Wickham for a season?
MON said he was one of the most naturally gifted players he'd seen. The loan and pre-season can only have added to this, so perhaps we'll see the new and improved Ji this season?
Always takes players from Asia a while to adjust, I expect Kagawa to have a storming season at Man U.
JJJJJJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's round the keeper......He's done it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ji's national coach said he was disgusted at his fitness levels under mon iirc I'm chuffed with this news, you never know we might have a diamond on our hands, international strikers shouldnt be sniffed at, geniunly hope he plays a blinder of course, just like anyone wearing our colours. Beware though he'll eat your dog!
Bri, might want to sort your spelling out mate, obviously didn't go to a GRAMMAR Skool. Don't worry, it's all the teacher's fault.
He never looked miles off, just physically short, good feet, and looked superb last 10 games in the Bundesliga. Absolutely he deserves a chance.
No, behind the front man Molders. He scored a couple of lovely goals and im chuffed he's gonna get a chance. Great option to have from the bench and good pressure for Sessegnon imo
I'm dyslexic mate. Peoples spelling and grammar isn't an issue to me as mine isn't good. I only brought that up as a joke because the line could be read in a racist way without the comma. Can I go now sir?
