Does anybody know any of the sponsors and their feelings on the change of name? It's clear Allam doesn't care what the fans think, but would expect him to care what sponsors think. Or not if he's already secured their money.
I already posted on this. It's a fantastic opportunity for free PR for a local sponsor to withdraw their support and get themselves on the front page of the HDM. I'd be very surprised if one didnt do it.
Yeah meant to say sorry if already posted. There has been that much posted over the last couple of days its hard to wade through. Maybe instead of emailing the club we should target the sponsors.
Really good idea, would give them some great publicity. Issue is, what local sponsors do the club still have? Or is it all national one's now.
The hull daily mail? That bastion of truth and justice that most posters on here continually slate as being useless? Oh aye, putting to one side that none of the sponsors are going to say 'We're pulling sponsorship of a premier league club because they've dropped a part of the name that no one uses', you'll find that the major sponsors aren't particularly inclined to make a compete arse of themselves in the local rag. The small minded mentality on here in recent days typifies everything wrong with this City
