Affection aside Brady - Just outclassed every one on the pitch. Aluko - What a goal Graham - Did his job well and got the goal he deserved. Also special mention to Matty Fryatt, who I thought was terrific when he came on.
Aluko Brady Graham Meyler looked decent too. Boyd did well when he came on. No negatives from today, everyone looked sharp and up for it.
Brady Aluko Graham Special mention: Dawson, for obvious reasons. Koren played very well, as did Sagbo. Nearly all the subs looked good when they came on as well. All players came out with positives today.
Brady Figueroa Aluko Thought defensively we looked very solid, was impressed with Davies as well as Figueroa and Chester looked much more comfortable in a standard back four again. Even made a couple of impressive runs out of defence with the ball. Overall a comfortable performance but I have to say I was expecting a bit more from the opposition, unless of course we just didn't allow them to get any kind of foothold in the game.

Brady Chester Aluko I like Brady playing centrally and further up the pitch can get involved in the game more and in the areas it can hurt teams. Chester was sensational looks a lot better in a back two. Aluko is just a wonderful talent, get him a new contract Brucey! I think Fryatt and Dudge both looked very good when they come on. Koren looked decent at times, Sagbo was rusty in my eyes.
Chester and Davies looked like a hell of a partnership already. Meyler was his usual combative self. Aluko and Brady caused them all sorts of problems. Graham led the attack well. Koren put a shift in. We just looked ace all round.
Hypothetically, if Bruce gets a solid French CDM, and we stick with the 433... What is the midfield 3? Brady has to stay in there, and I think that Bruce really likes Meyler - so Koren, Quinn and Boyd all miss out?
I have no idea. There were very few I'd heard of and they didn't have names on shirts anyway (or squad numbers to identify them).
