Result: Hull City Andy Dawson testimonial with 3-0 win

Hull City marked Andy Dawson's testimonial with an impressive 3-0 victory over Real Betis at the KC Stadium.

The Tigers edged their noses in front in the third minute through loan striker Danny Graham, who headed home following a measured free kick from Robbie Brady.

Hull doubled their lead just after the half-hour mark as Sone Aluko latched onto a short pass from Brady and curled one past Betis goalkeeper Stephan Andersen into the top corner.

Steve Bruce's side left it until late to ice the cake, with substitute George Boyd adding a third in the 78th minute, rounding Anderson in wry fashion and tapping home.

Dawson made a late substitute appearance in the game and his first touch was greeted with huge cheers from the home crowd.
