Hull City News ‏@Hull_City_News 36s Tried to order some tickets for Hull City Tigers first game 'We've sold out' he said. I said 'I know but I'd still like some tickets please'
The name Tiger/ Tigers is too common- Leicester, Cas, loads in the US & Aus, Asia, and then there's Tiger Woods. Hardly original. Piss take!
'For many, the Club will continue to be known as Hull City, as it has been from its inception.' They're taking the piss. Sorry Andy Dawson but so annoyed about this issue - I wont be at the KC tomorrow. The Allams can fook right off.
I can cast iron guarantee the word City will not appear on the new badge. And STILL some people dont get it.
Might as well post this petition: Hull City AFC: Stop the unwanted rebranding of Hull City AFC https://www.change.org/en-GB/petiti...&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=share_petition
Gordon Bennett, if some City fans! have only got to worry about a change of name from Hull City AFC, to Hull City Tigers then god forbid if the Allams pull the money out. Then you'll have something to worry about. Little Hullers living in the 1980's again!!! No its 2013... Frankly who gives a **** what the club is called. We are still HULL CITY...
Anyone who decides not to go and celebrate 10 years of service for one of our most loyal players because of this is quite honestly a ****ing ****!!
The Game's Gone Crazy..... http://thegamesgonecrazier.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/hull-city-tigers-show-leeds-leicester.html
You really are clueless. I said that I wasn't going to get excited until there was an announcement, and that if there was an announcement of minor changes to the name, I wouldn't be bothered. I was pretty consistent with that in fact. What irritates me is people making rash claims such as the club will be sold, Barmby will be telling his side of the story etc etc which in the end proved to be a load of bollocks. I had no reason to disbelieve what Nick had told us, certainly not based on information supplied by people who've proved to be less than trustworthy as sources in the past. Everything is fine. Minor name change. Great manager. Team being built on solid foundations. A season in the PL. A pretty good looking future in fact. I don't understand why you need to be so miserable about everything.
You've completely missed the point haven't you? You and the other "what's in a name" meffs. 1- Allam's have done this through stealth without consulting the fans. 2- The name won't bring us success or a bigger fanbase. Because, frankly, the lads aren't good enough. And if you can't see this then you're a berk. 3- People wear Man Utd, Chelsea, Barca shirts because they're successful on the field, not just off it. It's nowt to do with the name.
I won't be able to not go this season - we've still got a team to support on the pitch. We can still sing our usual 'City till I die' and various other chants to make our point known. But buying merchandise - nah, I don't think so now.
I'm of course going to be there and I know all the love and excitement for our club will still be there, but just very irritating. I hope they don't go through with it.
oh no they are changing everything! I suppose that most of you would have been happier if AA would have let the club go into liquidation? if it wasn't for AA we'd be playing Scarboro Town. Move the Team to Melton! you ladies REALLY need a new tampon I think. ****ing melodramatic prima doners
