One of Apollon Limassol FC (CYP) Atromitos FC (GRE) FC Aktobe (KAZ) Hafnarfjördur (ISL) FC Petrolul Ploieşti (ROU)
Who? Is anyone else thinking that if they weren't so broke, a cheeky late August trip to Cyprus would be preferable out of that lot!
Iceland is spectacular. But on paper any of those look easier than Malmo. P.S. Where's the info from? OK, here: http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=1979605.html
My aim is to go to a European game that doesn't break the bank. Iceland has always been somewhere I want to visit, but there is no Iceland-on-a-budget scenario I can foresee. I'm still hopeful for something in Spain/Portugal/France.
The Greek, Cypriotic and Icelandic teams are surely on level or worse than Malmø. FC København played Apollon Limassol FC in some warm up tournament few years ago --> looked S***. The Icelandic League stinks - even Danish players won't go there to play! The Greek League is dominated by the traditional 4-5 Clubs the rest are cannon fodder... Never heard of the other 2 teams...
Same here mate - I'd love a visit to Iceland. I've been to so many places around the world but never Iceland. Seems you have to get to Gatwick if you want to fly there. The trip to Gatwick is longer than the flight !!
Yes, this one. FC Petrolul Ploieşti (ROU) Watched the draw online with the sound off - I had no idea what they were doing! Make the whole thing as complex as possible?
They beat Vikingur (Faroe Islands) 7-0 on agg in 2nd Q round and Vitesse Arnhem 3-2 on agg in 3rd Q round.
