As an aside, how annoyed would people be if the name remained, but our crest and home colours were changed to reflect that of a white tiger, as opposed to the regular tiger we have now? I think our third kit should be white, covered in splashes of blood and claw marks. The players could come out covered in the stuff. It could be our haka.
For me, 'regular' should mainly be used in a chronological sense, i.e. referring to frequency of time. We should take care to avoid the pidgin immigrant American usage which nearly always means 'standard' or 'normal'. Thanks!
Ahhhh , yes thanks for clearing that up , i was oblivious to the headdy froth on here about the condensation of the Clubs name .
Sorry to respond to my own question but I wonder if anybody who is happy or apathetic with the rebranding can answer the above questions. I am really trying to find a reason for splitting the activities but so far I have not seen any reason.
And if you really did wish to split the football team and the holding company/business side, surely you would differentiate it and give it a completely different name such as Allam Football Holdings Ltd or AA Group Management Finance Ltd?
If my business was in trouble and someone gave me a few million to bail me out, then I'd be very grateful. But not grateful enough to agree to being ****ed up the arse.
You don't think thats being slightly over dramatic? If your business was in trouble, and someone gave you a (few? seriously??) huge amount of money to bail you and stop you from disappearing completely, and they wanted to change the way you work commercially, to make your business more efficient and have a long term future, but leave your "shop front" (insert company name if you want) by making a minor change to something in the background, you'd tell them you don't want to be "****ed up the arse" by them?
It wasn't so much over dramatic, as overstating it to make a point. I used 'a few million' as that's my level, unfortunately I'm not in a position where I'll be dealing in tens of millions. My point was, that just because you do a good deed, it doesn't buy you the right to do whatever you want. I accept that some people are so grateful that they'll accept anything, but I'm not one of them. There remains no good reason for changing the club name, or separating the club into two parts with different names, until there is, I'll continue to question what the hell we're ****ing about at.
OK fair enough. I don't believe more than 1 or maybe 2 on here have said that they'll accept anything from the Allams. I sure haven't. I still don't believe they have any plans to change the club (the one on the shirts) name, and as I've already said, I wouldn't be bothered if they did. If they did suddenly change the club name though, I would also be annoyed after they've said they won't, but like I say, the actual change wouldn't bother me, just the manner of it. Until I see a new club badge, I'll continue to challenge anyone who says it is changing.
So a slight name change is "getting ****ed up the Arse" ... You're a ****ing joke, granted one that is rolling in dough and can afford going to every game, every single season, but what a joke Go out for some fresh air you drama queen. Stop being a ****, if the Allams had asked for this change before saving our club, as some sort of clause you would have sucked their dicks off. Now you're back tracking after they've forked out all the cash. PATHETIC, how can you even say you're grateful? The ****ing nerve. As far as I'm aware they're not relocating the KC to Grimsby, calling us the Yorkshire squirrels and making us play in purple. Get a ****ing grip.
I can just see you now: Standing on the railway line with the train coming. "Until that train smashes into me I think I am safe, I'll continue to challenge anyone who says I am not" [SPLAT].
Slight name change? THAT is our brand. Not some new name. You don't change a 109 year brand for a new one lightly. If you come up with a new brand it has to be good because you lose the old brand quickly. In fact you lose it quicker than the new brand advocates realise that they have got it wrong. It's easy to change a brand. It's a lot harder to change to a better one. It's even harder to realise your mistake and change it back again.
Burn the Witch. My he be cast into the pit of hell and suffer eternal damnation. We were lied to or where we ? As long as the team is a success on the pitch what does it matter.? I suspect that the Allams may just have to back track if the public outrage carries on like. Twt as always.
