I have and I did say 'one of'....

It's not hate, it's fact. I didnt say I despised him for it. Im sure he'd admit to being very thick but equally Im sure he gets over it as he probably earns in 3 months what I earn in a year.

1st half ... of extra time. Scored, and provided the cross/pass for the other two goals. So why the **** couldn't he do that for us?

Isn't a chav somebody who wears fashionable sports clothing? In which case id be surprised if any footballers aren't chavs.

Or do you mean the incorrect use of the word, when people use it as an insult. Which i think both of you ate doing.

A chav is someone like Vicky Pollard in Little Britain. It doesn't just account for what they wear, but also their attitude and personality.

To be fair, most footballers wear sports clothing because they actually do sports.

I remember when the word was first introduced into the dictionary and all over the news and David Beckham was given as the example of a chav - its just too many misuse it as an insult.

Vicky Pollard is probably more of an example of a fake chav or chav wanabe as her clothing is more likely to be fake.

Chav has come to be used for Vicky Pollard types - but originally it was aimed at Burberry-wearing Essex types who put a lot of effort into looking good (but still failed).

I first heard the word 'chav' down here in '96. Its originally (possibly) a Romani word, meaning 'boy/youth'. The guy who used it meant 'mate'. (But he used it as 'chavvi')

The Oxford Dictionary has it down as

a young lower-class person typified by brash and loutish behaviour and the wearing of (real or imitation) designer clothes.

To Bum Chinned, Cairney is the new Stuart Green. Because he doesn't track back and dive in with ferocious tackles to back up his obvious talent, Mr Crab is forced to hate him. I think he also hated Gazza if my memory serves me right.
I think its a jealous thing about players with talent.
I have noticed on here someone makes a statement about a player etc and before long enough "sheep" have adopted that line of thought without really thinking for themselves.
There is far too much stereotyping and slagging off of people who are Hull City players, who we should be supporting and getting behind. Some of the attacks are cowardly but sadly that is what the internet is for you, breeding keyboard warriors who wouldn't dare to speak like that in the real world, and especially to their faces.
I get the impression a lot of posters on here are young and impressionable. Most of you don't even know the face of our moderator or one of the most important fans in Hull City's history judging by the comments on the pic of fans in Germany.

I like cairney as a footballer regardless of my comments about his personality, he just needs to crack on and hopefully comes back a better player with regular week game time assuming he does come back

Why does it matter if we know the faces of our moderators or the fans in Germany?

Does it make me a worse supporter due to not knowing them? Does it make me a worse supporter due to the fact that i am 21?

Of course it doesn't i have still been a season ticket holder since i was five, i have still followed this side through some bad times and if we was going bust i would still be there, so don't judge people on their age or the fact they have no idea of who certain fans are.

Wait... so because I don't know the face of someone i've never met, that makes me a worse supporter?

    Not 'aving that one.

Oh come off it. Football fans are fickle. Just a fact of life.

You only have to think of how quickly fans attitudes changed towards Nigel Pearson, Frazier Campbell etc.

Next time Jack Hobbs appears at the KC he will be politely clapped, but if Pearson had made an offer for him in the last transfer window and he'd gone, it would be a completely different story.

The only way Cairney is coming back is if we have a midfield crisis, and can't get anyone else signed in the Jan transfer window.

Tom Cairney is a truly fantastic footballer, his passing (despite what most stupid people think) is phenominal and he has a good footballing brain. If he'd improve his attitudr I could quite easily see him outgrowing the club. He gets so much stick on here its ****ing unreal. Yes he isn't the strongest and he's arrogant, but if I were ad talented at kicking a ball as him I'd rub it in everyones face.

Erm, I don't hate Tom Cairney. we'll have that as a starting point before I take on the rest of your comments.
I didn't hate Paul Gascoigne the footballer, I really liked him. I think he's an absolute cock now, he beats up women and has thrown his life and talent away in the bottom of a glass. Is that the kind of person I should aspire to?
'Jealous of players with talent'. Hmm, where to start....how about the posts I recently made claiming Quagierella would be the signing of the summer if he went to Norwich? He is THE archetypal flair player who does no running whatsoever and is all flicks and tricks.
The reason I criticise Tom is because of his attitude. He was fantastic in the Premier League, he hasn't had a good game for us since. Ive met him countless times, I know what he's like and what the problem is. Nigel Pearson and Steve Bruce have drawn exactly the same conclusion I have and Bruce is actively trying to do something about it. Tell me why is that out of order on my part?

See, this is what I was talking about in that 'Anybody else experienced this...' thread last week. It's people who tell me how to support my club and how to act in regard to players that really piss me off.

If you don't rate a player, you're well within your right to say so. If a player doesn't perform, he's going to get flak from the fans. It doesn't make those fans bad fans, they're just voicing their opinion.

Can you honestly say on here you've sat through a game and not once criticized a single decision, player performance or result ever?

We don't have important fans. We have fans. Then we have people who think they're important.
