The club have said - #MUFC on Fabregas: "We appreciate Cesc is a contracted player at Barcelona and completely respect everything Cesc has said today." We all knew it was a long shot from the beginning, i hope we get Fellaini now.
Me too, Fellaini is a much better player than people have been giving him credit for today. He's good at keeping the ball, aggressive, good at assists and good at finishing - some people don't seem to realise that he spends a lot of time playing off the main striker.
Many people think this is his best position but I can't see him playing there for you with Rooney and Kagawa fighting for that position.
We'll wait and see about Rooney but, yeah, Kagawa looks mustard there too. I was thinking of a midfield three of Carrick, Fellaini & Kagawa. Do you think Rooney will end up at Stamford Bridge? (do you need him?)
So Utd finally return to considering Baines and Fellaini, just like everyone knew they would about 3 months ago. What exactly did you achieve by pretending you wanted anyone else Moyes? http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/07/manchester-united-marouane-fellaini-leighton-baines
I don't see him coming this year. Maybe next when he's in the final year ala RVP if the issues persist and no foreign club shows interest. I'd like to have him at Chelsea but I think Lukaku, Torres and Ba give us options and our midfield looks great to supplement them. I still think we can challenge with the squad we have but it will take one of our forwards to have a good year that's for sure.
he will be regular imo he is better than Kagawa and much better fit for PL style, he will be playing CM/AM, so Rooney can play as a 2nd Striker or at the flanks , rooney rarely operated as AM/CM
