Since it's undisclosed, I reckon we either caved for less than a million, or we won't be receiving the full million due to a clause in his tribunal contract where a percentage goes to Barnet.

Still, it's enough money at this level to buy both a striker and another player. We could also do with a loan or two for backup, or a youngster that will keep the likes of Fontaine on his toes/out of the team.

I'd like it to be this reason, but have a horrible feeling it's because we've caved under a million. Come on, it's how we do things isn't it?

 

A lot of transfers seem to be undisclosed these days- The clubs obviously have their reasons but it would be nice to know.

 

cant recall us ever revealling a transfer fee,either in or out,just not the way we do business.

 

If it was a million then Barnet get 20% of 850K = £170K the difference between what we paid and sold him for, unless the reason it is undisclosed is that it was £1M and Boro also paid Barnet. The same deal Swindon tried to make us pay perhaps we learned from them.
