Sunderland want rid, another one of Brucey's old boys. Reported they want a million for him but he's in the last year of his contract so they wont get that. Palace are interested. Seems like a good shout for us.

Not a bad player. Worth a £1m gamble? Probably.

He's not a tough tackling midfielder though, he's more of a holding midfielder.

We need someone who will be good when we don't have the ball, ie. closing down space and winning the ball back.

We also need more creativity which will hopefully be provided by Amalfitano.

Yeah, I'd be happy with that. I doubt this will inspire many people as he's not South American, 19 or awesome on FIFA, but if we got him for £1m I'd be happy.

    Still prefer Hendrick though.

He's a beautiful passer of the ball lads. Just to small and weak to cut it. I'd rather have cats too.

How's your pre season gone fellas? And good luck for the new season. <ok>

Mixed bag really, but no-one really cares. Sagbo scored on his debut, probably the best news. On the other hand, Quinniesta got injured, probably the worst news.

    Cheers, you too.

I suspect this is juist yet another paper rumour. Yet another player that Bruce has had in the past.

Not for me at all. We can do better.

He's pretty much the same type of player as Quinn and Cairney. Don't see anything in this.

But... Quinn and Cairney are nothing like each other in playing style.
