Yes but he should be allowed a chance to prove his worth if he wants to stay. He hasnt played for PDC yet.
Everyone should have a clean slate!

Absolutely cannot think of any other English midfielders I'd want (bar Wilshere, but that's not really worth discussion...).

    Milner? Erm.... HELP!

This in a nutshell is why England are ****, I'd take 4 or 5 from France, Germany, Spain & Holland in a blink.

Manu Fernandes!!!! I want him more than anyone. Anybody heard anything else about him? Huddlestone would be good, but he's injured most of the time... Manu is a better player imo

Milner isnt a central midfielder, yes he had a good spell there with Villa but the last thing we need is another bodge job central midfielder, wouldnt mind him replacing McClean though! haha

Contenders are Huddlestone who we should be able to get cheaper than £5M if they sign this Capoue.

PDC is narrowing it down mind with the English requirement, theres probably only 4/5 of those in existence.

Affordable and realistic option is Milner. But in fairytale land I'd love Lamps to finish his career with us.

Milner is a better Central Midfielder than Winger…

He doesnt have the pace for the wing imo

Could be brilliant, as well as another set-piece taker

However as said, way out of our league

but isn't Milner a wide man? I think Paolo is looking for a player that doesn't exist.

Yes but he deserves chance to show he's matured (if he has). Catts is a good footballer with the ball at his feet, and he sprays the ball round well. Signing Huddlestone wouldnt be an improvement in my opinion.
They both have equally bad injury records aswell!

the only other 'possible' target is the young kid at Derby. Will Hughes. can't think of anyone else English bar the others mentioned i.e milner, hudds, lamps....surely not Noble. or Catts or Parker who are DCMs.

I agree on the fullbacks. I dont rate Huddlestone. His clanger against us in the peace cup only confirmed that to me more!

On a pitch that has to be one of the worst in football history and the torrential rain in his first game after a summer break, god your a hard man to please.

The best of players make simple mistake like losing control of the ball.

Im not baseing my opinion on that mistake, I just dont rate the lad. He showed loads of promise when he broke on the scene as a 16 year old but hes not fulfilled it. Hes about as quick as Andy Reid after all his injuries aswell!

    Spot on.

Milner is much better CM than wide, it just happens that he's rarely had the chance to play there at City, as there is a little bit of competition...

This reads Mark Noble to me! Hudd would be great but I fear Noble as a plan B. He's ok, mind you, but not one to get the juices flowing!
